AMAZEBALLS Beauty Tip!

If you didn't know this already, I think Pinterest is WONDERFUL.  Anybody holding out should really just jump on the bandwagon.  All your friends are... you don't want to be the only one who didn't jump off that bridge now do you?  Okay, okay..  Enough peer pressure.

I'll just share with you the biggest highlight of my week on Pinterest.  (So far)  I am always the girl who will pin those items that tell you how to use every day items in your household in new ways.  Like using baking soda and vinegar to clean your shower head instead of CLR.  Or earlier this week I saw this DIY makeup brush cleaner.  Not sure if it actually works, but it sounds cool.  Every once and awhile I come across these long compilations and reading them is like discovering a mini gold mine.  I always plan on trying them, but never do.

NOT THIS TIME!

This morning, I thought to myself... My mascara is a little dry and then a light bulb went off above my head just like in the cartoons!  Oscar ran under the bed because it was scary.  Just like in the cartoons. (Not really) I remembered reading that a few drops of saline solution in your mascara tube can bring new life and delay the purchase of a new one.  It sounds kind of cheap because I buy my mascara at Target, but if you can use every last drop then why not?  And it WORKED!  I put a few drops of my contact solution in, swirled the wand around in the tub and VOILA - just like new.  So for you contact wearers out there, this trick will cost you nothing.  Otherwise, buy a small, store brand bottle of saline solution and try it for yourself.
