Design Crush: MiXTAPE SWAP

A few weeks ago I finally participated in a mixtape swap.  I've seen them on a couple different blogs and thought, what a fun idea.  It's always great to get out of your rut and hear new music.  The mixtape swap is a clever way of connecting with other bloggers, or blog fans and hearing some new music for free. This paticular swap was hosted by Kelly of Design Crush.  Her blog is a visual overload of all kinds of wonderful things.  Girly iPhone cases, yummy cocktail recipes, awesome invitations and a little bit of everything else.  For the swap I was paired up with Alyssa and it was a perfect match!  It was funny to me because we sent each other a lot of the same artists, but different songs.  She introduced me to a couple new artists as well.  There was a song in french right at the end of my CD that I LOVED! Thank you Alyssa and Kelly :)

I wanted to share my ultimate summer mix with all of you because with the three day weekend upon us in less than 8 hours, you need some awesome tunes.  This will mix perfectly with warm weather, windows down and the music turned up loud!
