{Mad Imports} Sacramento's Not So Little Secret
My friend Diana told me about this wholesaler event in town well over a year ago. She tried to take me once. As we drove between the side of the freeway and a bunch of warehouse I was worried this was some evil plot to kill me. She had got the date wrong and we abandoned the idea until last weekend.
Now I’m regretful that we waited so long! This place had a fun mix of shabby chic wares, large furniture pieces, nick-knacks for your garden and free mimosas. Bet I’ve got your attention now! Free mimosas, coffee and all kinds of other breakfast treats you see above. The two mimosas and a dozen or so donut holes alone we’re worth waking up at 8am on a Saturday!
Cute little breakfast table I wanted to bring home to live on my patio.
My friend Teresa on the left is a new homeowner and from what Diana had told me I thought this might be a great place for her to find some pieces for her home. Teresa found many treasures including this vase and a beautiful GIANT clock! Diana (on the right) it seems came just for the free snacks.
They had TONS of a faux flowers! Since the roomie and I seem incapable of drying hydrangeas ourselves, I could pass these up for the price.
If you’re interested in going, it’s the second weekend of every month.
