What a SWEET weekend!

I started things off with a bottle of barefoot in the parking lot of the rivercats stadium. Learned something new.  West Sacramento is Yolo County and they frown upon tailgating.

Spent the remainder of the weekend in a constant, frantic rotation of baking, cleaning up, making frosting, cleaning up, baking, frosting and cleaning up again.  I’m sure there was a better way to do it.  Something that didn’t involve almost burning down The Palace or burning myself badly.  No more baking in the middle of the night.  Not good.

What made the weekend even sweeter was two family nights.  Simone made an AMAZING dinner for my mother’s birthday!  I can’t wait for leftover chicken this week. I think our newly adopted sister Kaila had a pretty great time celebrating my Mom.  She thanked me the moment the car door shut for letting her be a part of my family. Awwwe our little barnacle :)
