Carry On, Jeeves—P.G. Wodehouse

This man is a comic genius of the English language. I would use my
whole list to recommend him, but then I wouldn’t be taken seriously.

On The Road—Jack Kerouac

Kerouac is a quintessential rebel. Like James Dean in book form.

An OId-Fashioned Girl—Louisa May Alcott

Sweet, romantic, and still timely. In my opinion, it’s better than Little Women.

Pride and Prejudice—Jane Austen

I was trying to figure out which one is proud and which one is
prejudiced today. I’m still not sure, but I love this book. It is just
amazing, the plot, the characters, the language, everything.

The Brethren—Bob Woodward

The nonfiction story of the Supreme Court. Especially timely right now.
